Description

Fossology has been mentioned in the past[1] as a possible tool to help verify freedom in the archive.

It has now reached 1.0 and has come up again.

According to the roadmap [2] they aim to release 1.1 RSN. When this happens, We can setup a test instance [3] or ask the FSF to set one up.

There has been some discussion about this with the FSF, but nothing concrete.

Fossology 1.1 has been released. Some more testing will happen with the new version. http://fossology.org/release_notes#new_in_fossology_1.1 .
