Description
Do aptitude install google <tab> <tab>

will bring up google-earth and others.

aptitude install flash <tab> <tab> will show non-free flash options.

Hint: this tab completion is done by bash-completion, as configured in /etc/bash_completion. It gets the package names from ‘apt-cache pkgnames’. That lists all the package names found in /var/lib/apt/lists/*, including the ones in Suggests sections. Those sections still list some non-free software. -samgee2

There was a script written early on to remove these entries (perhaps by you sam?). Might be worth looking into again kgoetz
