Description
After logging in, the screen flashes tan, and then the desktop appears. The tan color is inconsistent with the rest of the color scheme for gNewSense.

This can be turned off as described in the Ubuntu forums:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=653530

Start by making the specified changes to the /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default file. Then, to match the default blue desktop color from gNewSense 2.1 Delta-H, set #476984 as the Color Name value for your Background Color in System > Administration > Login Window > Local.

This is cosmetic, so IMO isnt worth fixing. if you’d like to patch GDM so it behaves differently please do provide a patch. kgoetz
