Description
It would be cool if builder had some way of showing how long a build run took.

I already have some simple code for this. I’m just filing a bug so it doesnt get forgotten.

At its simplest form (what I’m aiming for first it’ll look a bit like this:

if $TIMING -eq 1; then echo “Start time `date —rfc-3339=seconds” > $BASEDIR/timestats/$0-start fi

at top and bottom of key files.

I think the key files would be:
./gen-repo (perhaps)
./do-update
./gen-builder
./gen-livecd
./gen-cdsource
./stage-cd
./push-cd

Status
WontFix
Importance

Target Release

Resolution
This is probably not worth worrying abut anymore. if someone wants to work on it they are welcome too of course.
