Description
When using the gNewSense 2.0 LiveCD, clicking the install button prompts the user to enter the root password. The user hasn’t been told that this should be blank and this may cause confusion.

I saw the same prompt for a password when I clicked on the install icon on the desktop.ygingras?

Confirmed. It always happened when I had an usb external hard disk attached.arc

I’ve had someone report this to me. They say they didnt have USB stick in and got the message too. kgoetz

I had the same problem (with “install” and all other softwares which require root password, on Live-CD). But I only had to keep it blank, and it works very well (it can just create confusion, and should be explicited) Musicien77
